What do you do apart from being such a great athlete? Do you study?
Yes, I study business management at the University of Economics and Management in Prague. I am enrolled in an on-line programme commute to the Czech Republic to take exams.
Tell us about your daily routine.
Every day is different. I prefer to wake up early and go jogging and do yoga. Sometimes I excercise in the evening after training instead. Depending on the weather I either take a rest or train after breakfast. Sometimes I take a day off to relax and go on a trip. Freestyle kiteboarding is physically demanding discipline. Therefore it is necessary to eat healthy and take care of your body. After dinner I often go to bed as I am an early bird. My daily routine also modifies according to whether I am at home or in a full physical training or in a competition. During my stay at home in the Czech Republic I keep myself fit and healthy by running and excercising in the gym. I also like relaxing in the sauna with my mum.
How about your diet?
I usually have fruit and yoghurt for breakfast. I am a big fan of fruits and vegetables. I try to get enough of protein, mainly from chicken, fish and eggs. I love vegetable salads, nuts, seeds and oat flakes. During demanding physical training I enjoy Lifefood Lifebar energy bars. I need to supplement my body with a lot of healthy energy which is what Lifebars provide. It is quick, healthy, tasty and provides energy for my body.
What are your hobbies?
Sports is definitely both my job and my hobby. I dare to say that I could not live without sports. I kite every day since I started to kite profesionally. If I am not kiting I still go on with my physical conditioning, I run, swim and do yoga. Since childhood I have been into sports. I did artistic gymnastics, swimming and athletics. Then I fell in love with kiteboarding. Among my other hobbies, I like learning lanugages, traveling, seeing my family and friends. My goal is to be first place in the world championship and to become a world champion. I hope this ambitious goal will one day come true.
